Burt Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 I just got some new rudder pedals, Thrustmaster TPR's and not quit sure if the TPR pedals are out of calibration. So I'm on the runway and rolling along and noticed the jet veers to the right and I'm having the left tap the brakes alittle to stay center. Is the normal for the Hornet or you think I may have to recalibrate the pedals. Now in the air the rudders are Left-0 Rt- 0. Its noticeable after landing. Hulkbust44 Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 Check and make sure the pedals are centered with the controls overlay. (Ctrl + enter)I have noticed an issue with the Hornet drifting right on the ground, I've confirmed this with other guys as well. This has been going on for a while. Mobius708 2
Burt Posted August 16, 2021 Author Posted August 16, 2021 Oh great well that kinda good to know. Yes the pedals are centered thats what throws me off. I will do some test alittle later and maybe try a few different jets. I mean I can live with it and its all good in the air I just wanted to make sure the pedals are okay and/or recalibrate them. Thanks ! CBStu Posted August 17, 2021 Posted August 17, 2021 I have noticed this too. And I don't have pedals, just a twist grip. 1
doomie Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Behavior maybe 'as expected', either: Asymmetric thrust, with left engine generating slightly more thrust than the right. Check RPM or fuel flow differences on the IFEI. Crosswind component pushing the aircraft.
