drummer Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 So installed the Hind and mapped the axis controls as usual. Sticks all move and the collective goes up and down in the right direction, even the swashplate on the hub can be seen moving on the outside views, BUT the thing will just not lift off or move at all? A google search shows a few other people had this problem and the one who has replied to me cannot remember how he fixed it. Any suggestions?
THERION Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Although I do not have the Hind at the moment, I guess you should also adjust the RPM of the engine. Maybe you run your engine on too low RPM.
SnuggleFairy Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Attach a quick replay. I think I know what it is
drummer Posted August 20, 2021 Author Posted August 20, 2021 (edited) The engine RPM is already set when you start in the 'instant action' scenario. I have tried adjusting the RPm just in case but again no change. What else might you suggest? Edited August 20, 2021 by drummer
Solution SnuggleFairy Posted August 20, 2021 Solution Posted August 20, 2021 Go into "gameplay" settings and uncheck the top left option "simplified flight dynamics" or something like that
unlikely_spider Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 Are wheel chocks on? Modules: Wright Flyer, Spruce Goose, Voyager 1
drummer Posted August 20, 2021 Author Posted August 20, 2021 i did not know there was such an option but will check. Regardless, you would have though lifting into a hover would over ride wheel chocks?
