Wait, he shot at something which seemed pretty far away and the round ricocheted back at him? This is real?

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

Yes its real...Its been posted a few times here already. From what I learned about this incident, they were using competition rounds instead of armor piercing rounds. So the target they were shooting at naturally absorbed the impact of the round and bounced back at him. He was very lucky...in that the round came back at him, knocked his ear muffs off, and not hurt anyone. He should have bought a lotto ticket that night.

WTF did he say "no more iron"? ,, LOL if that's the material they were shooting at then what did they expect.

 

If they were shooting at what I think they were, its not at all uncommon to be shooting at targets that basically amount to iron plates.
