Krupi Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 (edited) Just looking for the trim wheels in the cockpit pictures, I am sure all surfaces have trim tabs, however I am struggling to locate the controls. I have found the Rudder Wheel (Red), Aileron Wheel (Blue) but not the Elevator only the Trim Indicator (Green). Is the knob next to the Elevator Trim the Trim wheel? Lovely 1940's British Ergonomics, who wouldn't want to play juggle with trim and the control column! razo+r Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Trim wheel should be to the left below the seat. 1

dmwierz Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 (edited) That's an old screen capture of the cockpit that doesn't match the FB.VI. ED has corrected this, and now the rudder trim wheel is on the sunscreen of the instrument panel, between the gunsight and the radiator cowl switches. The elevator (tail) trim wheel is roughly located at the pilot's left hip. The rudder trim wheel is approx 80mm in diameter, and the tail trim wheel has three spokes, internal knurls for finger grips, and is approx. 170mm in diameter. Hornetjock Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Don't bother looking in the cockpit for wheels, except to check the settings. I mapped them (trim) to two-way buttons and just made sure the correct setting appeared when activated. Elevator, left side wall and rudder, two O'Clock in front of the Nav. Haven't worried about the ailerons.
xoomigo Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 Just found the elevator trim wheel. Need to lift the pilot's left armrest to reveal it.
