IronMike Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 @draconus I investigated this a bit and here it is: It is not unrealistic, but it depends on your downlock oride switch next to the landing gear. If that is in the down position (default), you cannot raise your gear on the ground (or lower it again). But if it is in the up position you very well can, which is realistic. The bug is that you can lower it again after raising it on the ground, but it is a low priority item, we'll fix that at some point. It should at that point ofc be simply broken and require repairs. Great, that's all I wanted to hear. The unrealistic part was that it raises up from the belly just by the gears down command. And of course I had to override the WOW switch to make it happen. RustBelt Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Easy trick would be to have it empty the hydraulic res. Since doing that IS going to pop at least one seal and hose all your fluid out.
DSplayer Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 (edited) Tbh I found it as a pretty fun party trick when I'm playing the F-14 with my buddies. Just the shock and awe as the F-14 does a push up basically. HeavyGun1450 Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Yep, turn on downlock override, toggle the landing gear and do tomcat pushups
