F/A-18C Hornet - Reset to Default (no Mods) but retain controller info

Hi All,

 

What is the procedure if I wish to reset by F/A-18C back to defaults with no mods, but I wish to retain all controller settings

 

I do not have any mod manager in place, so it needs to be a reinstall or whatever is the required procedure to be done

DCS Repair should do the trick.  If you have some in your Saved Games folder then the best thing to do is to rename your current one and when you repair and relaunch a new clean folder will be created.  Then just copy back over the files from the old one you need for controls etc.

 

I use OvGME for managing mods.  Works fine.

I did try to follow several guides for the setting up of OvGME, but it just seemed to screw things up rather than helping. I know it is the best way to manage add-ins, custom stuff, but I must have screwed something up, I will try again at some point

 

In the meantime, thank you for your suggestion for resolution, I will try it later on

You can backup the the controller settings in saved games, config, input, aircraft name folder and copy them back if needed
