Looking through the docs that come with the module there's this picture with the description saying they're loading four 500lb bombs into the bay.

Is it correct? Should it be possible to load four in the bay?

But it was also given a bomb-bay behind the cannon, which enabled it to carry two 500 lb bombs internally (with fins cropped to fit) plus another two under the wings.

pretty sure they are loading the other two on the wings... and the photo text is in error.

No. The dedicated bomber variants could mount 4x 500lb bombs with the short tail fins in their bomb bays but with the Hispano breeches occupying the first half of the bomb bay on the fighter-bomber variants they could only ever carry two.

It says that they were prepared to load 4 bombs into the bay, it doesn’t say that they succeeded.

Mosquito armorers were highly motivated and tried to go above and beyond their duty…
