ED Team BIGNEWY Posted October 1, 2021 ED Team Posted October 1, 2021 Thanks, you can see in that video he is missing his left horizontal stabilizer so maybe a damage model issue. We will wait for the track replay Forum rules - DCS Crashing? ED Team BIGNEWY Posted October 2, 2021 ED Team Posted October 2, 2021 As suspected this is damage model related, we have more damage model work to come in future updates. In our development build the aircraft does not recover from losing the horizontal stabiliser. Thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? CrazedPilot Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 (edited) I was just trying a few things out in a mission, and after damaging my rudder, I noticed that I still had full authority over my rudder control, even though no part of that surface was left. It also seems like rudder damage itself is purely visual, as I've noticed that there are no effects on the flight, no matter how damaged it is. Video of damaged rudder: Digital Combat Simulator 2021-11-04 19-00-43_Trim.mp4 Fixed rudder (for reference): Digital Combat Simulator 2021-11-04 19-12-45_Trim.mp4 Track: rudder.trk Edited November 5, 2021 by CrazedPilot 1
