New Kiowa Book Released

If anyone is interested in reading about Afghanistan, a new book about a KW pilot's two tours in Afghanistan has been released.

Just read the preview sections for kindle version on Amazon, seems like an excellent book (having read lots of helicopter pilot memoir books in the past). Shame it's not available in Google Play Books yet. Amazon screwed up my account once, so it won't be my choice of purchase source. But I'll definitely be sure to find a version before DCS Kiowa release...

I've read the book right through. Excellent read. Like sitting in an IMAX theater being part of the action. Recommended.

I read this when it came out. I enjoyed it! 

It's a decent length too, which was nice after finishing Apache Over Libya in a few days of light reading.

Grabbed the book, I'm excited to fly the Kiowa in DCS especially just lasing for the big hitters. There is a picture of a pile of smashed MiGs at Bagram airbase in the book. This is me in front of the same MiG heap...I should have looked for a stick or throttle!
