Diesel_Thunder Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 Was practicing AAR last night and noticed that the probe does not line up with the basket when it is connected and taking fuel. Don't recall seeing it do this before. Forgot to save the track, but did grab a screenshot: PC: MSI X670E, Ryzen 9 7900X, 64GB DDR5 RAM, RTX 3090 Ti, TM Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pro Flight pedals, Opentrack Link to my Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/DieselThunderAviation Commander, 62nd Virtual Fighter Squadron Join the 62nd VFS today! razo+r Posted October 24, 2021 Posted October 24, 2021 You might be too low. It slips around a bit depending on your position. Either way, this most likely wont get fixed until we get the new system.
Diesel_Thunder Posted October 27, 2021 Author Posted October 27, 2021 Saw the thread subtitle requesting a track, so I went in and did another refuel from the KC-130. Observed the probe "moving" around in the basket while hooked up, and occasionally looked misaligned like in my screenshot above. The only other odd thing was that the KC-130 called for me to breakaway twice, before I even plugged the first time. Here's my track, took a full load of fuel and plugged three times in doing so. f18 refuel probe.trk PC: MSI X670E, Ryzen 9 7900X, 64GB DDR5 RAM, RTX 3090 Ti, TM Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pro Flight pedals, Opentrack Link to my Youtube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/DieselThunderAviation Commander, 62nd Virtual Fighter Squadron Join the 62nd VFS today! ED Team BIGNEWY Posted October 28, 2021 ED Team Posted October 28, 2021 Hi breakaway warning is known with the KC-130. We plan to improve basket physics in the future but I can not give any ETA on this feature. I have reported the basket not aligning, thanks 1 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
