Camocat8 Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 I've had no issues with my mods but after one of the recent patches(not sure which one) they stopped working. The files are all the same but aircraft stopped appearing in mission editor and SRS no longer connects. Any ideas?

Camocat8 Posted November 11, 2021 Author Posted November 11, 2021 i think this is it? dcs.20210416-070834.crash dcs.20210416-070834.dmp dcs.20210416-070834.log dcs.20210416-070834.trk dxdiag.txt hash
ED Team maximov Posted November 11, 2021 ED Team Posted November 11, 2021 These are not exactly the files we need. Nevertheless, it is now clear where you can find the files we need. We need the file C:\Users\lacey\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\dcs

Whenever I have problems with my User Mods after a DCS update, I disable all the Mods (easily done if you use a Mod Manager to install them), and then re-enable them one by one, testing DCS in between, until I find which is the Mod that has issues. Once I know which Mod it is, I then go to its developer's thread or discord to check if there is an updated version that makes it compatible with the current DCS. Camocat8 Posted November 13, 2021 Author Posted November 13, 2021 oh thats where my confusion was, it was just dcs not dcs.log dcs.log
ED Team maximov Posted November 13, 2021 ED Team Posted November 13, 2021 1. Delete all unofficial mods, rename the C:\Users\lacey\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta folder to Temp (for a backup), run the DCS repair. 2. Update your video card driver at the official NVidia website On 12.11.2021 at 01:26, Rudel_chw said: Whenever I have problems with my User Mods after a DCS update, I disable all the Mods (easily done if you use a Mod Manager to install them), and then re-enable them one by one, testing DCS in between, until I find which is the Mod that has issues. Camocat8 Posted November 23, 2021 Author Posted November 23, 2021 okay so i uninstalled my mods, repaired DCS, and updated my driver. I made a new "Mods" folder and "Aircraft" within that. I started with the grinnelli f22 but the crashed dcs when trying to start the flight and the rafale mod crashed when it was just put into mission editor. I tried with the base f-16 and it was fine.
ED Team maximov Posted November 23, 2021 ED Team Posted November 23, 2021 According to my statistics, A-4-E and Rafale quite often cause game crash. F22 is rare for me now, but it used to be the main cause of crash. As you understand, ED is responsible for the work of its modules. In your case, you should contact the developers of these third-party mods. Perhaps the reason for the failure lies in an update of the game. The programming code has changed, but the developers of third-party mods have not yet had time to make the appropriate changes. It repeats with every DCS update.
