Most noticable when watching the F18 from the front in outside view. Starting max zoomed in its ok. Then, zooming out you'll start hearing propellor engine sounds. 

 

Only hearable when flying btw. start happening above mach 0.7. slower than that is fine. above it increases in volume and pitch

Ah, I think I understand what you mean. This has been discussed more than once. perhaps you are talking about an unusual sound that appears after 0.75 Mach speed and with a low angle of attack. Yes, indeed, it looks a bit like some kind of prop aircraft sound. But this is in real life. Check how it sounds on the flyby (F3-camera). And if you look for more videos of FA18 flybys with the parameters I mentioned above, you will definitely find it.

Exactly. @nighteyes2017 as I said above, check it with F3 view
