MarkyMarc Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 In mission editor I zoom in all the way and the carrier stays as a dot... videos I see for static aircraft placement show the carrier icon change to a top down graphic of the ship for ACFT/model placements... is there a setting I'm missing? I tried all the maps/gaming areas I own... no difference. I am using the stable build (not the beta). Is there a setting that I'm missing? I've been scrubbing the forums and turned up nothing (yet).
Gierasimov Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 (edited) There is a toggle at the bottom of the screen in ME - show models. Also, be aware of this bug: \ Edited January 18, 2022 by Gierasimov 1 Intel Ultra 9 285K :: ROG STRIX Z890-A GAMING WIFI :: Kingston Fury 64GB :: MSI RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio :: VKB Gunfighter MK.III MCG Ultimate :: VPC MongoosT-50 CM3 :: non-VR :: single player :: open beta
MarkyMarc Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 OMG... I knew it was going to be something simple... thank you... my TM MFDs were blocking the bottom of the ME page... plus I have 50+ year old eyes. 1
Boosterdog Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Now you can enjoy guessing where the deck markings and elivator edges are since thier mysterious dissappearance from the graphic several months ago. Still a pain that needed be though. Yesterday I lost about 8 hours work on a carrier group template after the game crashed during all the placing and checking mission re-starts. Totally FUBAR'd the miz file. Having to rely on Mods to add life to the deck and having few aircraft modeeled static wirh chocjs (let alone tie downs) isnt grerat either. Thankfully it was the final template for the maps and baed in the Caucauses, which of course no Super Carrier could even get to let alone be allowed to be in so I can happily not do it again! rayrayblues Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Get familiar with the "save" function. Edit/Save Static Template/Same Name/Replace File. When you add something, save it right away.
