If I download custom Skins from the DCS World User Downloads. Put them in my Files then use the skins in a Mission I make and put that mission out for free download for all users on DCS will the Custom Skins be in that Mission or will default skins be added if the downloader does not have the custom skin or skins installed on there Computer?

I just don't know the answer so thank You if you do and are kind to reply to my need to know.

I believe you can find out yourself by simply deleting the custom skins (or move them to another folder so DCS doesn't find them any more) and then run the mission. What skins do you see in-mission?

In short, no. DCS will not download skins automatically.

However, if you get permission from the skins author to redistribute them, you could then package your mission on a Zip file that has this internal path structure:

\Missions\your-mission.miz
\Liveries\aircraft 1\skin folder 1
\Liveries\aircraft 2\skin folder 2
... etc ...

and then tell the user to uncompress the ZIP on his \Saved Games\DCS\ folder, then they will in a single operation have both the mission and all the needed skins. 👍

Thank You Sir. I hear what your saying I have no need to find out for myself because I was thinking if I ask I will find a Kind person that would answer my question so I would not have to find out the hard way or for myself. DCS Forum is a wonderful resource for us Bothersome New people asking stupid questions. May I offer you my Apology if I have asked a Ignorant Question. Thank You Sir.
