I use lead motion with all DCS compatible modules and it's a "WIN, WIN" VR + Lead motion combination to operate both ICPs, MDF and all frontal cockpit, even side consoles (but with issues). It would be great if HB modules were fully compatible

So jut found out Leap motion was a thing. I'm wondering what overall is the issue? Do the hands just not interact in the modules? Or do they do things, just weird?

I recall using the controllers for buttons it was fantastically easy to knock the canopy jettison...

Yea they don’t interact with the cockpit. Works for ED modules like F18 or F16, but I ended up reverting to my VR controllers. More reliable and I can use zoom function and recentring

The exact reason why I don't fly the Tomcat anymore is the missing Leap motion support. Now just realized that the same may happen soon with the Phantom. Both planes are absolutely beautiful and marvelous designed by HB. And it's a pain to know having them in the hanger but not wanting to be flying them.

However, the amount of immersion given by the Leap motion that I can use in the Hornet is just invaluable. It simply feels like really sitting in the plane and fiddling around with all the knobs and buttons with my own hands, not with that very distant, artificial feeling that a mouse provides.

I wont any longer spent money for planes I will not fly because of the missing Leap motion support. So much I am waiting for the A-6 or the Eurofighter, I wont buy them as long as Leap motion is not supported. Same applies to planes of any other developer.

Cheers

Just realized, that HB has finally added Leap Motion support to the Phantom F-4E Modul.

Thank you so much guys!

It just adds that bit of immersion to that phabulous modul, that I was missing so much.

Would be great to see this eventually in the Tomcat.

Cheers
