  4. Hi, I am wondering with the current 3d model updated, is it possible that you can make AWACS, Jammer and Tanker be controllable for human? I think this will be super fun for squadrons and multiplayers. You don't need to make it in full fiedility, just making it like FC3 or even simpler is totally fine! I think if it comes as a package to sell, people will be interested. Imaging you can plug into other jets, trying to fly as stable as you can for other jets to plug, or multi crewing with several controller on Awacs, will be super cool.
  5. Please please please, after so many year, is it possible for us to be like MSFS2020, which can switch from monitor to VR by just one click? With the newest update I have more crashed in VR then before, and sometimes after the VR crashed, the game is still running (happened a lot after hitting F10, which cause a lot of lag). I was thinking if VR crashed, then we can switch back to monitor and then go into VR again, and we won't need to launch DCS everytime when we want to use screen to edit stuff after using VR. I think it's a very reasonable ask, please help us to overcome whatever barrier you have, and put the switch button into the game.
  6. Nasty said in 18:00 that it's hard for him to see the ship, he thinks it's too grey. I guess we still have some miles to run to fill up the gap in between simulator and real life.
  7. After this update, my friends and I are having problem that if you switch to the back seat then switch back to the front, your pitch trim will be set to a werid position that you might crash your jet after a cat shot.
  8. I have set the number from keypad 1 to 8, but 9 and 0 is not able to set because the wheel's position is changing in different page. I just assume that there will be a simpler design solution to it.
  9. not directly related to A2A but I would suggest to let player being able to manually putting numbers for Nav and radio. I fly with other players in a virtual squad which we often needs to dial in grid or radio freq, and with so many number, it's just painful to use head movement to dial all those number. I think numpad should be working with the jester menu in this case!
  10. One thing I feel frustrated is, when you have a bandit in close range(within 20 miles), and you ask Jester to lock that target, he will then often lock up another target which is 40 miles away. Jester's ability to priortize targets seems to be not good enough for player, so the User Experience of using Jester is bad sometimes (people is expecting an AI with a certain level, which I know is difficult. similar UX design problem happened when autonomous driving was introduced to the market) I would suggest to have some manual input that we can use before Jester AI being massively improved.
  11. Hi Mike, Sorry, I should make myself clear, TARPS is an seperate idea since Enigma's cold war server is running the RECCE mission for Viggen and Mig21 very well! (people has to mount recon pod on it without any weapon) and I was thinking by having TARPS system, we can have lots of fun missions. (I guess even if the TARPS pod is a dummy 3d module, we can already build cool missions around it) For the OV-10 fac script, it's created by Carsten, by using the long on station time of OV-10(just like F-14), the script allows player to be the FAC to corrdinate all the available resources in hand to attack ground targets, from Jets to helos, but I am not sure if Arty is included. Too bad that Carsten said he can't put voice line into it, I can imagine if we can have the full conversation in voice, the immersion will be incredible!

I listened to lots of former Tomcat pilot/rio podcast talking about their FAC-A and CAS mission after 911, and from the awesome "Training day" single player mission, I have seen the great potential of creating very immersed FAC-A mission just like what is shown in this multiplayer video I found, and if ED or HB can create something like the FAC scripts for OV-10, plus the TARP pod, I think the Tomcat module will become the best module in DCS(althogh it already is!)
  13. It's now almost toward the end of 2022 and we still don't see lots of improvement for VR! bogey sometimes just disappeared within 4 miles just like how runway light disappered when you zoom out in DCS...

  16. Hi, is it possible to let the AI also do the same radio call out just like players since we are all monitoring the same frequency, it's really important especially in CASE3 landing, last night an E2 almost rode on my back lol.
  17. hi, I am planing to make PDCP and AFCS panels recently, and I found this post, which is amazing! Quick question, I have seen many guys are using different kinds of toggle switches, and does anyone knows what's the correct size of the toggle switches on AFCS and PDCP panel should I look for?   18. Hi Swson, Thanks for sharing these tips! Do you have a short video to let us know what should we expect when everything is calibrate perfectly? I have been installing and uninstalling my leap motion for a few times during this year because I have never really get it to a point that I feel it's easier to use than using a mouse. The main problem is I try to use my index finger as a "hitbox" to touch those buttons but it only has 10% of the time working!

  20. Hi I have seen several people mentioned this problem but not really seeing a topic reated focusing on this problem. For me, both in VR or screen, I have to zoom in to see the runway/ carrier lighting if I am from about 15+ miles, and if you zoom in or fly closer, suddenly you will be able to see the light like there was no light before you crossing a line. Has anyone experienced it? Is ED ever going to fix it? Thanks!
  21. Nice pictures! I also found some pictures from different years. Clearly the Navy will try to maintain those paints if it's not usable anymore! I think HB can find a balance which gives the CV59 a worn/used look but still making players to be able to see those lines. The navy is not painting those lines just for "historical look", I think those lines are really important for helping pilots, not only in sims but also in real life. I am not sure if the CV59 has the Long-Range Laser Lineup System but it's only in DCS super carrier anyway so the guiding line is our only visual indication for lineup. And, I believe that there must be a standard from the U.S. Navy regarding the maintainance of indication lines' clarity.
  22. yes it's very dark for everyone, not only in VR but also in screen...and I have found out that this topic was broght right after the CV59 was introduced to us but still no improvement I guess.
  23. Thanks for clearing my question! One additional thought just came today, if the jester can make the gimbal call for the pilot, it will be awesome! Can't wait for the Tomcat to be even better!
