I read the news this morning that the english version of blackshark is downloadable.

So after work I raced home to get the long awaited simulation.

I hoped to work with this simulation over my holiday between christmas and new years. I have some days off then which I could have used for editing missions.

 

 

Then I got very disappointed because I don't own one of these cards:

I can only offer EC and Paypal payment option.

 

Will at least the boxed version be purchaseable for me, or will it be the same like with Flaming Cliffs for me, what means: No purchase possible = no customer ?

 

I feel like everybody else can use this simulation all over the world, but me.

You will be able to buy the game from the shelves in germany.

 

Is there nobody you know having a CC who could help you with your problem ?

Groove will DCS accept Pay Pal or maestro?,

on the Protx site they have the Maestro card sign.

Right now ED supports only the payment options you can find at the protx page.

 

Perosnally i don't think PayPal will be added in the nearer feature.

 

Regarding the Maestro sign i think the best would be to contact Protx and ask them about it.

 

Nevertheless i will try to find out more for you guys about additional payment methods.

You know - before I got to know that the English Version is available as download, I was happy to wait for the christmas holidays simply because I have two weeks off work.

But now, knowing that there's something so close, I'm so longing for to get, but I can't get, I am disappointed and ask myself what to spend my christmas holidays for if not for Black Shark.

I think the most common problem with PROTX is the banks outside of UK who require postcode and address (see this link). Also not all cards have CVV code which is necessary.

 

Groove is right about contacting PROTX directly. They know much more about their transactions than we do. Actually we have to contact them rather often to find out the details.

This is relative to my interests too. Apparently protx accepts only UK Visa Electron, so I probably need to wait for the boxed copy if paypal (or international electron) doesn't become an option :(

Unfortunately Protx do provide more payment options such as PayPal to process transactions but it is the choice of our vendors which they choose to offer for their products.

 

We cannot add a payment type onto a site without a request from our vendor to do so.

 

If you think that sales are being lost because of this issue it may be beneficial to contact the company and make them aware of this. They may decide they wish to offer more payments types to their customers.

 

Hopefully by contacting them they will offer you a way to make a purchase.

Same problem of airway, and I can't get a card. I have a VISA Electron ora a bank account, or paypal .... I think that is strange closing the market to who do not have this card. We must wait months, than probably see 10 or 20 € charge more than the 50$ purchasing the box version...

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Problems with Visa debit in Spain too :( it says "The Card Type selected does not match card number"....

Very xtrange to me ther isn't any other payment option, or let customers outside UK to buy this game... really I don't see the point here, don't you want to sell the game outside UK or what?

Just joining in to add you have lost another customer as well, I really wanted to buy this game too...

 

It's pretty ironic that games companies want to stop pirating but if I wanted this game that is my only current option. Anyone can use PayPal so its a pretty obvious choice.

 

As soon as I can buy it I will though. Simulators are by far my favourite games and I want to support them.

I just purchased G.P.S., short for Geo-Political Simulator, an economic and geopolitical simulator game for PC, online two days ago.

 

- Ordered 3:28 p.m.

- Order confirmed 3:28 p.m.

- Payed using Paypal 3:31 p.m.

- Payment confirmed 3:31 p.m.

- Got Downloadlink at 3:33 p.m.

 

5 Minutes for the whole process in total. :thumbup:

Haven't heard of Eversim before.

Hi!

 

Just wanted to let you know, that I'd really love to buy this sim too. But I don't know anybody owning a credit card. I do however have a PayPal account, so I hope you'll add this payment method in the near future.

Hi.

 

For me Paypal is also the only way to get it before the boxed versions are out. It's a long time to wait.

If ED has reasons, why PayPal is not available, I can accept this and wait, but I hope ED explain it at least.

I also only have the option to pay per paypal. no credit card and no, the suggestion to ask someone with a cc is no option.

uh, just read on a different post that paypal is somewhat "uncooperative" when transferring customers money to russian companies. so I guess paypal won't appear on the list in my lifetime...
