Inject a bind for HUD intensity rocker?

Does anyone know how to define a bind for input to lua files (or injection by Quaggles mod) for the HUD intensity (brightness) rocker switch?

It's already there in the game, called "UFC INTEN inc/dec".

Already got one of these Multi-Function Button Box - Total Controls

Just couldn't see the HUD brightness as I was being an idiot, just searching for HUD or brightness! All good now.

What about a bind for 'hide stick'?  Don't tell me that's already in game as well!

No, it isn't. I managed to get two solutions by adding lines to "default.lua".
This pair of lines provides two pushbutton bindings for "show" resp. "hide":

{down = 3016, cockpit_device_id = 39, value_down = 1.0,	name = _('Stick HIDE'), category = _('Systems')},
{down = 3016, cockpit_device_id = 39, value_down = 0.0,	name = _('Stick SHOW'), category = _('Systems')},

This line is for a single maintained ON/OFF switch:

{down = 3016, up = 3016, cockpit_device_id = 39, value_down = 0.0, value_up = 1.0, name = _('Stick 2-Pos SHOW/HIDE'), category = _('Systems')},

I tried to get a binding for a single show/hide toggle pushbutton, but no luck.

That's great. Thanks for that. Pity about the button toggle as I have a common bind on a button for it on other modules.
