Small Implements that pump up Realism (and maybe frustraition)

Hey, i love DCS and im in since Flanker 2.0 BUT...

I would love to see some changes and i bet im not alone

-My Pilot needs a life support system after bailing out. its hard to see him drowning as soon as he touches something wet. We need life rafts or life preservers

-I would love to see an option to let bombs failing to go off or ricochet...especialy older bombs are failing often especialy when droped not optimal, bomblets are often found unexploded or the container smashed on the ground without setting the bomblets free

-a short spray when connecting or disconnecting during air refuling would be a nice effect...

I dont even know if that is the right way to make such suggesions...please dont hate, i´m a sensitive guy ^^

keep up the awesome work ED

+1 to all of the above.

Life rafts have been something long-requested, and something I'm definitely in favour of (though we're lacking functional rescue hoists/winches, the Hip has one, but it's only cosmetic and completely non-functional).

In terms of weapons failures (which could be expanded to fuses, guidance and propulsion), I agree, but it should be handled the same way as user failures are, with user set probabilities for each weapon type (and perhaps making it side specific), by default there should be no chance of random failure (like there is now), but if the mission editor desires, they should be able to set probabilities.

And a short spray would be good to see, at least when disconnecting. In-flight refuelling is something with improvements planned, and maybe this would be included there.

I totally agree with the ability to actually be able to survive an ejection over water. Plus how to forget when Maverick and Goose have to eject and are rescued from the ocean.

It would be nice if there was an automatic release of dye and raft as soon as you hit the water.

yes that dye in the water would be awesome and a hoist function would be super nice for all helo-drivers. that would make things much more immersiv and dependent of the team. i would add an ELT too(emergency locator beacon). That gives you an annoying sound on the emergency frequencys (121.5MHz and 243MHz) as soon the aircraft hit something hard or it comes into contact with water...so you could have "real" SAR missions.

i just remember from Falcon 4.0 that the flares burned even after hitting ground, that would be nice too.
