Bolt Uprite Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 long time reader first time poster first off kudos to ed for reviving the true sim.... may u live long and prosper I haven't had a chance to make pretty holes in the ground yet ...and that leads to my question ...I have no cc to d/l the game and pay pal won't do a one time cc # in canada so i was wondering if a demo will still be released or should i just freeze myself like cartman is south park ?
sobek Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 The last i heard was that there will be a demo, however, it will only make the wait for the real thing even harder ;-) Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
element1108 Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Freezing yourself might be a good idea! That way you can sleep a head to when DCS launches a few other modules and never EVER have to leave the house again! ;)
popov Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Now that it is out there (full version) anyone think its still in the plans to release a demo ? I personnally bought it, but I know some friends who would like to try it first. This is not a final decision. But I think a demo will probably not now be developed. We have released much earlier than planned the English version. Creating a demo would freeze up resources for another month. Much better we spend time on developing the A-10. and get it completed for 2009. mattpeckham Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Hear hear for getting the A-10 out in '09! :)
Ramstein Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 damn..;. I was awaiting the Demo... if that's the case that is ....Demo maybe no longer being considered.. than I am sure many others are also dissappointed... ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer) 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR
predaeus Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 I was also looking forward to the demo. But I can understand that probably more people are interested in fast movers, and if this helps this series to survive then so be it, bring them their toys as soon as possible.
