av8orDave Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Just tried flying as CPG with George at the flight controls for the first time. I've gotta say, I'm impressed! George is a much more capable pilot than I am, and it is pretty easy to get him to do what you'd like. Big kudos to ED for getting this done! 2
DOG Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 oh same thing right now my ability to hover is awful if it was for George
markturner1960 Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 How do you get to choose which seat to fly in in any of the supplied training or instant action missions? Or cant you and this has to be done from the ME? Its not something that you swap on the fly either is it? System specs: PC1 :Scan 3XS Ryzen 5900X, 64GB Corsair veng DDR4 3600, EVGA GTX 3090 Win 10, Quest Pro, Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo monitor.

In any single player mission the number "2" key on the upper row of the keyboard switches to the CPG station, number "1" switches to the pilot station. This can be remapped if desired. In multiplayer seat swapping is not modelled currently.
monkie Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 Yes George has come a long way since the early days of Petrovich, I am very impressed with how seamless the interaction is. Ever since the days of Gunship! I have always thought it would be most interesting to serve as the CPG and allowing the AI to maneuver the aircraft where I wanted while concentrating on the battle and DCS has hit this one out of the park as far as I'm concerned. Remarkably stable and functional for an early release, it will only get better from here. Sager Laptop, i7-6700k 4.00GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 980M, 1920x1080, TIR 5, Windows 10
oscar19681 Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 I wouldnt be so sure about it since good old George crashed me into the dust on more then one occasion when i told him to lower to about 500 feet. But for some reason Georgyboy felt like going all the way... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

609_Relentov Posted March 19, 2022 Posted March 19, 2022 (edited) Just now, markturner1960 said: stupid question maybe, but I cant find a control option for "george command switch".......? In the pilot and co-pilot/gunner controls it's called: George AI Helper Interface – Show/Hide In the George AI controls, it's called: George AI Helper Interface – Hide You want to make all three the same key binding, so it will act like a toggle to turn George AI on/off with each press.
