VIAF 2023 - Heatblur F-4 Phantom II Surprise Airshow Demo
DOG replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4 Phantom
as I understand the relatively low temperature of the combustion chamber when is in cruise power and under full military power made the f4e engines smoke more (the hotter it gets the less smoky) -
yes that is what my slammers are doing when I fire them in pp.
-
yes today I fired 4 of them in 2 different sorties and 3 out of 4 missiles never reached the target because they starting flying circles, I was using simple PP mode not adding waypoints or anything, also flying at MED alt and no datalink pod.

see roadmap for fcr Apache-64D BLKII radar on top of rotor
DOG replied to scommander2's topic in DCS: AH-64D
cosmetic ok yeah I understand but has anybody tested if it affects the total weight? (or is purely visual cosmetic right now) -
yes it feels pretty much like scripted detection when within a certain range. ANY unit instantly turns the gun at you no matter what the conditions are and has pretty much god tier tracking, I can not believe that an old BTR with the type of optics and the lack of stabilizer it had could fire like that. while the (battlefield is in total chaos)it seems like ground units can always instantly find any aircraft and lead it as if they were using a tracking radar . sadly this aspect of dcs is one of the most forgotten even the air AI seems to be "smarter" {ground pounders suffer }
-
yes this is very interesting idea I would LOVE to see some nails in dcs , not only for apache but for any other HYDRA platform that can fire them.
-
The best way for an AI to kill an A-10 in DCS is to snipe it with a bmp2 autocannon from like 4 km and sadly the ground units are not the only over-tuned assets in DCS, IMO the HIND A.I. with ATGMs turns those old (very hard to use for a human player) missiles into a weapon to surpass metal gear they literally can hit an f16 pulling 9 G like is nothing.

already reported pulling cyclic aft or pushing forward causes roll
DOG replied to skypickle's topic in Bugs and Problems
i kind of felt the same but the devs already said they didn't change anything to the flight model in the last patches. so i am a bit confused now lol -
After doing some testing with the apache I started to get this strange left roll when pushing the cyclic forward only on speeds above around 70 kias i also did turn off each and everyone of the sas channels even 1 by 1 and nothing fixed so if this issue is related to the sas it cant be solved by turning it off

yes I have this same problem with the a10 and the kamov
-
I can tell you that mine its yellow the other bugs u mention haven't checked
-
for me the thing is to advance the left engine power until the rotor RPM is above 55% and that seems to drag the right engine into starting.
-
sorry won't happen again.
-
this is not about adding, this is a bug the a10 of yore used to have these working 11 years ago but hey haven't been fixed check the radar altimeter after the bomb when he banks
-
yesterday I had this and what I did is similar to what u mention but instead i only pushed the left engine power lever until the main rotor RPM was around 53% or 54% and that somehow dragged the right engine to idle instead of the spool down bug thing.

on the store under the price of every module u see (MILES: ####) for every module except the F15E

yes please give George the control of the LMC or the autotrack

I play in multiplayer server all the time and I fly alone (because I have no friends to CPG for me ) and I was wondering why my rounds disappeared into the nether every time George fires , I see the same behavior on my gun that you show in this video something is definitely wrong with the gun I hope they address this soon (kind of disruptive IMO)
