JIGGAwest Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 (edited) There are other threads about MPD export, and it has been moved, not considered a bug. While this is possible, there is clearly framework for this to work. I'll identify a few issues I'm seeing. When customizing the Monitor Config LUA for exporting MPD's to a second display: - There is an issue with variables in the Monitor Config LUA for RIGHT_MFCD and LEFT_MFCD where the CPG MPD's exports override the PILOTs MPD's when sitting in the PILOT seat. - CENTER_MFCD variable doesn't allow for TEDAC export. There is a workaround for allowing The PILOT MPD exports not to be overridden. You have to name all the AH64 export variables to unique names, then you have to comment out or not include the CPG export variables in your Monitor Config LUA, so that only the PILOT exports will appear while in the pilot seat. Because of this, you have to have separate monitor configs for the CPG seat and PILOT seat if you want to have exports for both seats. there is either a bug or the work isn't complete for dynamic MPD export updating by the specific seat. Second screen Export BUGS or conflicts with LUA modifications: - When in the PILOT seat, when only having the PILOT MPDs exported, there seems to be a double render on the IN-COCKPIT LEFT and RIGHT MPD or the Brightness knob rates effect the exports at a multiple X%. the Exports also appear much more dim than the IN-COCKPIT. - When exporting the TEDAC, while sitting in the CPG seat, the IN-COCKPIT TEDAC, has a double rendering of a different size. Having a shadow effect. TEDAC d Edited March 20, 2022 by JIGGAwest 1

Scaley Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 The difference in brightness between exported and in-cockpit screen has affected the Hornet for as long as the module has been out. The generally suggested work-around is to used ReShade to boost the brightness of the exported renders. 1 476th vFighter Group Main Page -- YouTube -- Discord Scaley AV YouTube - More videos from the 476th

Can you provide a little more information on how to do that, I know about ReSahde and use it for DCS, but not sure how I would apply changes to only one of the displays or areas of screenspace. Would much appreciate it, thanks
