Gil80 Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 So yesterday it was working great. I didn't make any changes. Today I get this error message in Device Manager: https://ibb.co/5nDtnHG https://ibb.co/tprCdcS I'm on Windows 11 Pro Version 21H2 Build 22000.556 I tried removing and reinstalling and changing to different USB ports, nothing helps. I tried trackIR on my laptop and it's working there. Has anyone experienced something similar?
BitMaster Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 I guess this is rather a USB problem than a specific TiR issue. You have to delete all "old" USB devices in Device Manager in most cases to remedy the issue. USBDEVIEW is a great tool to list "invisible & old" USB devices and clear them out. Nirsoft's Website: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html Hope my assumption is somewhat correct, report back Gigabyte Aorus X570S Master - Ryzen 5900X - Gskill 64GB 3200/CL14@3600/CL14 - Sapphire Nitro+ 7800XT - 4x Samsung 980Pro 1TB - 1x Samsung 870 Evo 1TB - 1x SanDisc 120GB SSD - Heatkiller IV - MoRa3-360LT@9x120mm Noctua F12 - Corsair AXi-1200 - TiR5-Pro - Warthog Hotas - Saitek Combat Pedals - Asus XG27ACG QHD 180Hz - Corsair K70 RGB Pro - Win11 Pro/Linux - Phanteks Evolv-X
Bossco82 Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 Are you using a USB extension lead by any chance. I have a small extension so I can cable manage, I sometimes get an error even if its connected ok.
Haplo Posted April 29, 2022 Posted April 29, 2022 Just got the same problem, windows 11, TrackIR now comes up as Unknown Device, have checked the camera on my daughters laptop with Windows 10 and it works fine. Have you updated any other programs lately?
Sn8ke Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Same issue with me. Last night updated windows 11. Boom. Undetected device. Hope this gets resolved quickly. Asus Prime Gaming Wifi7 // Intel 14900K @5.5GHz // 64Gb DDR5 6000MHz // 3090 RTX // 4TB Samsung NVME M.2
BitMaster Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Don't have this issue with all Win11 updates as of now installed. I recommend to delete the USB entries and connect it again. Bossco82 Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Yep I am the same as Bitmaster, "fingers crossed". In all seriousness I opened it to test it now. Win 11 all updates AMD X570 motherboard. Check your motherboards drivers for the USB ports, plug the Track IR into a port directly into the back of the motherboard. Also, try them all one by one. Sometimes my Track IR has NOT liked the high speed USB ports. Best of luck hope it gets sorted.
Sn8ke Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Got in touch with NaturalPoint. They responded to email with a few hours. Follow Their recommended uninstall procedures and reinstall. Worked for me, back up and running. Asus Prime Gaming Wifi7 // Intel 14900K @5.5GHz // 64Gb DDR5 6000MHz // 3090 RTX // 4TB Samsung NVME M.2
