Hi All,

I am no novice when it comes to programming the Stream Deck XL using the Charles Tytler DCS Interface. For my F/A-18C full profile, I only used direct interface with Device IDs and Commands IDs, no keyboard shortcuts

I am however having an issue programming the AH-64D. For now I am only programming the Pilot element of it. The whole keyboard part works fine, however, the MPD/MFD & EUFD just will not accept any input at all. I have ensured that I have selected the Pilot Inputs, as appose to the CPG's, based on the attached provided under a different thread

Would anyone mind checking this profile and see if it works on their config, and whether perhaps I am just doing something stupid, or too close to the problem to see the glaring error, I have only coded the following folders within the attached profile, LEFT MPD, ENHCD UFD & RIGHT MPD

Thank you

Toni Carrera

Oh no, your "Button ID" and "Device ID" entries are swapped. I have accidently done this before too. This can be fixed in two different ways. Manually swap them (which I would recommend). Or use ID Lookup to put the correct ones in (which I would recommend for new buttons). Profile looking good btw!

OMG, I feel about 1/2 inch high! I can't believe that I did not notice that, especially when I have been bouncing back to the Keyboard unit which works to ensure I did it right

Sorry I pestered you, and thank you so very much

Off to correct that all now

Nice profile so far for the Apache. Hope you will post it when you are done! Just getting started on mine, but learning to fly it is taking most of my time lol!

@Topcat357 You and me both, I can't believe that years of flying helicopters in various Simulators, including DCS, and after flying her for every day since day 1, I am still unable to fly her in any meaningful way

Anyway, back to the Profile, I will have finished the entire StreamDeck XL 'Pilot' profile today, and will release in User Files

@Bailey I have completed the first pass of the 'Pilot' profile, which I will package up and post later on. Guess it will take a day or so to appear on the User Files

I still have some bits I have not worked out how to do, such as display the values of Chaff and Flare content/remaining

Other than that, I think I have mapped via Device and Commands IDs only, all the switches and buttons. The only exception to Device ID etc, is the CTRL & V to show/hide George, that is a straight Keyboard Shortcut

Anyway, off to final test it

I have just published my first pass at the StreamDeck XL AH-64D 'Pilot Only' profile, I am sure it will appear as long as ED do not have any problems with it. I will post the link when it appears in User Files

Hi All,

As previously mentioned, the profile is now available, as well as the first update which makes the already great icons by @pellelil even better by the new set he/she released

You can find the profile at https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321515/

Hope you like the first version, which is only for the pilot. I will make a start on the variant that will include the CPG controls also

Toni

@Bailey, anyone for that matter,  any idea how I can get the values for CMWS Flares and Chaff remaining values so I can put it on a display for the appropriate page

Thanks

PM'ed. Good luck!

Posted (edited)

@BaileyDo you mean you have PM'd me, if so, I have not received it

@Topcat357 I too want to create a sub-page that allows you to press the Lamp Test button and have them all display on said page. Sort of like I did on my F/A-18C profile, where it reported the status of various configurations, things like Gear Status, Launch Bar Status, Flap Status and so on etc, only this time you will press the lamp test and it will show all the lamp values, being both go/no go

Is that what you meant regarding lamp test output?

I have found the outputs and will start to create a sub-page now for the outputs for the main key lights now, and will publish asap
