on the other hand I noticed that if I turn off and turn on dcs everything becomes
normal . Just a bit boring

This has been useful. Just tried a mission where I was getting single digit fps in VR, I used this to clean up my RAM and it jumped back into the 30s where my refresh rate is set.

10/10! 4h session in VR in MP, switching planes, helis and no more freezes over city/airfields - even in Apache.

Is this needed if you have 64gb? 
 

I haven’t  filled my memory up yet but I run low settings because I’m in vr. My gpu memory feels up however. 
 

what exactly is the registry freak doing?

I fell foul of a massive fps dive the other night from high 70s down to 30s, checked task manager and ram usage was at 29ish gb, started up memcleaner and the framerate was restored within a couple of seconds.  I would concur that yes it can help, I've not witnessed any negatives of having it running in the background whilst flying

For Syria map turn textures down to medium and land textures down to low and all shadows low . free that Vram up . also that tool is very good . thx
