johndw52
Can someone tell me where in the cockpit I can see a visual cue re. nose wheel lock on/off. After taxing I some times forget. Getting old I guess. makes for some wild rides during takeoff. Thanks Johndw52
razo+r
There's a switch on the left side, somewhere close to the flaps buttons. Toggle it a few times and you will find it.

Schnuffelpuffel
If you want to have the nose wheel locked this switch has to be backwards in the SU-27 but forward in the SU-33. You guys think this is real?

You guys think this is real? My question exactly. I was surprised the NWS on Su-33 works with the switch off/closed... but the label says "откл(ючить) упр(авление) колесом" which is "disable wheel steering" (more or less). So yes, the switch in Su-33 seems to be there to DISABLE it. Hence ON for disable. Of course, this is just my deduction, no real experience with Su-33. Yes, when I fly the 33 I have to remember how the switch works for 27 and then think: opposite For the 27 I use: when taking off everything in the cockpit would go back due to inertia, so the switch also needs tp go back i5-4690K CPU 3.50Ghz @ 4.10GHz; 32GB DDR3 1600MHz; GeForce GTX 1660 Super; LG IPS225@1920x1080; Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB; Windows 10 Pro
