To respond directly to your question, I would have if they were out a few months back.
But I just couldn't wait any longer, decided to get an "interim" GPU until the next gen of Nvidia/AMD GPUs comes out - got me an RTX3060Ti (at same price I sold my RX5700XT!), which actually performs way above my expectations.

My thoughts on Intel ARC GPUs are splitted....

On one hand I really believe that it's a much needed concorrent in the GPU market.
And it needs to succeed, so that we have all three manufacturers, Nvidia, AMD and Intel, all pushing each other much higher and faster in progress, and at lower prices.
Brings back vibes of the 1990s (Voodoo days!), when "graphics accelerator" was then the coolest and fastest growing tech for PCs, and with fierce, strong competition.

On the other hand, I start to think that Intel ARC's timing of launch is terrible.
A year ago, or even some months back from now, it would have been the "saviour" of all things GPU. But with prices of Nvidia and AMD now slowly going down, and their following generation of GPUs coming at the end of this year, I think Intel ARC may have lost momentum (dearly so).

Intel ARC's flagship model is supposedly equivalent to an RTX3070Ti with 16GB of VRAM (which is actually fantastic for a newcomer!). But then that may become somewhat outpaced later this year, when upcoming Nvidia RTX4000 and AMD RX7000 series are out (rumours place these as much, much faster than current ones... at unknown pricing!).

The thing is, right now it's pretty much a given that Intel ARC will have to sell at lower prices than the two long established and dominant forces (Nvidia and AMD), so perhaps, with the right price tags on it, people will feel rightly compelled to buy Intel ARC, and make it a global success.
I sure hope it's worth it and it becomes a success - for the sake of a healthier GPU market, we need it to be.

I am an old man and I can still remember that there was once a competitor named "XGI Volari" (~ 20 years ago).

There have been promises before the launch but there has been trouble on launch. So I would say let them enter the market, let them sort out their issues that will be there for sure and if they deliver a good product, yes, I would think about buying it. Why not? It doesn't matter what the brand name is, the product has to be good.

I wouldn't say NO just because it says Intel on the box if the product fits the bill at a reasonable price, due for an upgrade anyway.

The only thing I could think of is, will they overdo the TDP  like they do with the CPU's. If the past tells anything, that is what we will see.

I too on the fence the price has to be right . I need an upgrade GPU .

I have AMD board and CPU . I might have to go AMD so to sync all parts .

But definitely keeping my options open . 16gb VRAM is the future .
