Given the way some people respond when *tentative* release dates are missed I don't think you'll find anyone ED rushing to even guess when that's going to happen. If it gets dropped into Stable and something breaks it'll just bring out the Troll Brigade, so I'd say sit tight and enjoy it in Beta for now. 🙂

I would like to change all over to beta, not Shure how to move all my stuff modules/campaigns/maps without downloading again and do I have to redo all the bindings.

Don't have enough room for both.

Don't blame me if this goes wrong, but what I used to do when I was short of drive space was to simply drag the Mods folder out of my DCS install directory and put it somewhere safe. Then I'd delete the DCS folder and install the OpenBeta version. Once it installs I'd drop the Mods folder back into it, and then try an update and/or repair, which will ensure that all your modules are up to date for the beta version. Always worked for me.

EDIT: Bindings aren't shared, so you may need to re-map everything. You can backup your DCS/Config/Input folder, but I've had minimal success with that in the past as my controller ID's all seemed to change.

You can convert your stable version into openbeta. It will keep your settings and download just the files that are different, it will also use just a fraction of the hard drive space while converting and at the end it should be about the same size as your current DCS. Here you can read more about this:

For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra

For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar

Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

Ah, I should have mentioned that I only run the standalone version, not Steam, so unsure if Steam just changes one install into the other or not.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the advice I gave was for the Stand-alone version of DCS. If you use Steam, then I'm not sure how to proceed for converting from Release into Openbeta.

Oh? When I installed OB I seem to remember it only asking for a new installation directory, not an option to swap over. Then again I'm getting old now and my memory is bad. I *think* for Steam you just right click on DCS, select properties and tell it to use the beta version, but not done it myself so best to check.

I think that you maybe didn't went to read the thread I linked ... I was not suggesting an installation ... rather a conversion from stable to OB,  on that thread two different ways to convert were discussed.

Sorry, it might be the way I worded it. I regard conversion and installation the same way. To my way of thinking by converting you're effectively installing the other version over the top of the existing one.
