SDeath Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 Well, I checked it just to be sure and I was able to lock targets with only K041 on. I really don't want to messing with you I'm just inteded to have a perfect CL and your one is the best ATM :) No offence taken. I removed it from the Checklist as it indeed is for ground/maintenance checks. Version 1.7 is in the start post, freshly baked. +-) Foxconn BlackOps Intel X48 NB+SB+MOSFET Watercooled | Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme QX9650 @3,8GHz | 8GB Corsair XMS3 Extreme DDR3 @ 1600MHz 7-6-6-17 2T | GigaByte GeForce GTX 470 SOC 1280MB | Samsung 830 256GB SSD | 5x Western Digital Velociraptor 10.000rpm 300GB Raid0 | 2x Samsung 206BW 20" | Saitek X52 Pro | Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Sims : DCS - KA-50 Black Shark 2 DCS - KA-50 Black Shark Advanced Checklist DCS - A-10C Warthog Advanced Interactive Excel Checklist

Franky__ Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Hi again:) I'd like to suggest to extend your checklist with pitot tube heat and pitot ram air heat functions. Any idea if their work are modelled? Vel0th Posted January 29, 2009 Posted January 29, 2009 I have a little correction: you don't have to turn on Targeting Navigation System, the K041 is enough to be on. The manual states TNS is used by for ground checks only. Although I have no idea if it serves as a backup system in the case of mailfunction of the K041. Anyway, nice checklist, I use this since its earliest version, good work:thumbup: Thanks for the enlightenment. I noticed that the systems governed seems to be the same for both the K-041 and TNS switches so my guess would also be that it's a backup, but a comment from someone who knows for sure would be great. I also noticed that in case the K-041 and TNS switches are on, and you turn off either one of them, the navigation system is turned off (ADI, HSI and radar altimeter etc.).

Your last statement would suggest it's not a backup, as if anyone of them should go offline then the other should takeover the functions. So i'm quite sure it's for ground maintenance, that's what the manual says too. Probably some systems don't come on in the background to prevent accidents. 1 Foxconn BlackOps Intel X48 NB+SB+MOSFET Watercooled | Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme QX9650 @3,8GHz | 8GB Corsair XMS3 Extreme DDR3 @ 1600MHz 7-6-6-17 2T | GigaByte GeForce GTX 470 SOC 1280MB | Samsung 830 256GB SSD | 5x Western Digital Velociraptor 10.000rpm 300GB Raid0 | 2x Samsung 206BW 20" | Saitek X52 Pro | Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Sims : DCS - KA-50 Black Shark 2 DCS - KA-50 Black Shark Advanced Checklist DCS - A-10C Warthog Advanced Interactive Excel Checklist
SDeath Posted January 30, 2009 Author Posted January 30, 2009 Version 1.8 is online now. I fixed a error, the ground power request key assignment was wrong. Thanks Nightshadow81 for pointing that out to me. The Pro version also was updated to version 1.8 but nothing was changed. Just to keep things more clearer. Version number always correspond. SNAFU Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Great Checklist, thank you for your efforts and time spent. I just thought the GP-Generator should only be disconnected, after the AC/DC GP switches in the heli are turned off, because of sparking or is there any special reason? I just thought the GP-Generator should only be disconnected, after the AC/DC GP switches in the heli are turned off, because of sparking or is there any special reason? Honestly the quality of my work suffered as time went on and the shutdown procedure is blindly copied from the manual 6-14. I'm really hoping people will find lots of problems with my checklist so it can be made better. Also it's terribly incomplete, lacking all manner of the middle flight, combat preparation, and emergencies.

Also it's terribly incomplete, lacking all manner of the middle flight, combat preparation, and emergencies. It feels a bit like my thread is being hijacked. I've put a tremendous amount of time in my checklist, and now someone else comes along and uses my thread to promote his checklist, and troubleshoot the problems in his checklist. It feels a bit awkward. I know I don't have the time to create new (ECL) checklists, but I will still maintain the checklist I created.
