Flash1606687761 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 What do you recommend? I have been using my Logitech Momo wheel pedals for Falcon but they don't quite cut if for this helo.. It needs fine adjustment that I can't do. Is the choice still Saitek or CH? I can find the Saitek for £80 or the CH Pro for £100 so there isn't much in it.
Frazer Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 What I use is the Saitek X52Pro + Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals + TrackIR4 Pro. This is a great setup and all you will ever need. Also the best price-quality balance. Forum | Videos | DCS:BS Demo1 / Demo2 | YouTube Channel [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

RedTiger Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 I have Saitek pedals. I would like to try the CH ones, but they seem very close together. The Saitek ones are nicely spaced.
hannibal Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 (edited) i think the Saitek SST Software sux big tyme. the CH Control Manage is an awesome utility to use.. im using a modified flight stick pro as my torque pedals.. isnt pretty...preparing to paint it though.. Flash1606687761 Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 That's some cool home made kit :) I know the Saitek software stinks.. But I have an X52 and honestly does it matter what the software does for pedals?
hannibal Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 (edited) if it was just for black shark, it wouldnt matter.. but for other programs it just might..as the case with me...i also play battlefield 2. battlefield axis settings is simple..just assign the axis and thats it. at the time i originally used the electronics of a saitek aviator for the foot pedals... pedal response was no the greatest compared to cyclic response in bf2. the SST software sux for the fact that i cannot manipulate the input response curve for the axis...the ch control manager allows me to do this. fortunately black shark as in game axis configuration. for bf2 and potential other games.. i ended up buying a flightstick pro to install the electronics into my torque pedals.. what i am saying is thumbs up control manage, thumbs down sst ssoftware. It's Christmas, and after all that food and good wine seeing this just makes my eyes water over.. And I have to say I like your approach to building the pedals.. I REALLY like it:thumbup: "But (504)Brewber said they were'nt friendly.. So I took'em out.!" [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
