Experiencing the same issue with Mission 8; Pistol 36 does not show up to waypoint 3

Yeah, sitting in purgatory twiddling thumbs now.  Don't really want to keep advancing in campaign only to come back later if it gets fixed.  Because if I do come back and get a good score I have to redo the later missions again...(9-15).   Total drag because it's a decent campaign.

OK, I'll check it and have it fixed for the next patch. I don't understand why the AI starts doing this randomly in various missions... but hope to find a fix.

I hear you. I wish I had some control over this (when I submit campaigns to ED they are 100% checked and work as they should), but each update brings some new bugs and I don't think that will ever change. For all my future campaigns the lesson learned is to keep the same level of fidelity while having smaller strikes and less AI flights to depend on plus give them simpler tasks to make the campaigns more bug-resistant, but this will always be part of the experience unfortunately I'm afraid...

Mission 1

Just bought the campaign, read the campaign info doc, and started Mission 1.

I get clearance to taxi to CAT 2, but I notice the helo (Switchbalde 614) at the front of the ship has not taken off, even though the audio recording told him to lift off. No other planes move around the deck, and I cannot takeoff due to the helo never moving. Also, the ship is barely moving, and slowly rotating to the left the whole time. I've tried multiple times, no luck. Anyone else had this issue? The only prompts I get during the mission are the initial radio check, and clearance to taxi. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Running the latest OB, multithread preview.

i was getting weird things happen to me in mission 1, while using multithread, its a very complex mission from a builders perspective, and was built before MT, maybe try standard, see if it fixes it?

Just tried a couple times, still no joy. Just noticed also one of the Tomcats near the LSO station gets damaged and falls through the deck a little. If anyone hasn't replayed Mission 1 in a while, you should give it a go.

@picholas @CH4Pz I think I have M01 fixed, it should be out with next patch. Currently looking into M08 and hope to have that one fixed tonight. The carrier issue in M01 is something new that was introduced (broken) with the most recent update. I know it is a bummer to run into such a problem on campaign start, I am sorry about it - but it is completely out of my hands. That's just DCS 🙂

EDIT: I confirm I have the issue in M08 nailed and hopefully fixed, running some tests.

Same problem as Picholas in mission 1. Unable to depart. Nothing is moving in the carrier. I've been given instructions to move to CAT 2 but it is obstructed and cannot take off.

After the update, Red now does join up after launch and performs his role correctly.  New issue is that after trying the mission 4 times, even though I'm shacking the Primary Target at WPT 3, I'm never awarded the hit and Lead announces only 3 out of 4 targets when  announcing BDA to controller.

 

Therefore I'm still stalled @ mission 8....

Good news as I found a workaround to get full points.  I've tested this a couple times now.  If you get to the primary target well before your flight and destroy it, you get full points.  (You don't get the red text notification on the top right corner of your screen though) And in actuality the TOT compared to your flight leads position is WAAAY out of whack.  If you stick with your lead, it seems someone else now takes out your target before you arrive.

 

Another weird thing is after escorting Red, the Israeli Eagle follows you right to the boat and through the entire pattern.  And the boat never gives you a Charlie, so I just land anyway.  I'm so happy to be done messing around with this mission.

You sure you dont have any mods conflicting? cuz i was waiting for a fix on this mission, so tried it straight after the update and worked fine, as scripted, got 100% ?!!

Mission 11: All works fine until attack on Cougar. Successful SLAMMER hit on target, Red Kite calls, "Touchdown". That is the last mission comm. Tried flying waypoints back to ship and use DCS comms on Marshal to land. No mission success message. 

 

Cougar appears to get stuck on the breakwater leaving port.

Did the cougar remain stuck in the shipyard?
If so (as it happened twice to me) BD is aware of the bug and the mission fails because the subsequent triggers won't happen.

Aware of this one, had similar issue with another ship in Raven One. The AI vessels pathfinding has changed causing the trouble. I hope to troubleshoot that today for Wednesday's patch.

BUG in M08

 

The mission works fine until I get back to the boat after following Red to Haifa. 

Then, all the F-14s (Musket) are hanging around the boat and getting perpetual Wave-offs, so I never get Signal Charlie.

No biggie of course, just letting you know.

Now Mission 10 is broke.  And yes I have wasted time on it attempting it several times.  After Sluggo says to pull away from Luke and set to TOO, that's the end of the radio comms.  Nothing from Cutlass or anything. After passing over the Cutlass flight Sluggo banks towards the North and South SA-6's, but gives no instruction to Flip and does not fire a HARM.  SA-6 fires on me (Flip) so I fire back.  It's never a score and Sluggo just keeps flying straight doing nothing.

Do you have any mods installed? i completed this mission about a week ago, without any issues. Ive heard of voice attack causing issues before if you run anything like that?

Are you sure it was only a week ago? I don't believe I have any mods installed.  Certainly not Voice attack.

 

Oddly it worked not long ago (unsure how far back).  Hopefully someone else will chime on their experience in M10.

 

Note: I just seen this morning on BD FB page there is upcoming changelog on this mission in regard to Sluggo attacking the SAMS
