Capn kamikaze Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 Can we have a combined axis for RPM of both props rather than by selected engine?
Bozon Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 Do you mean you wish to control both rpm levers regardless of selected engine? Because currently if you select “both” it will control both rpm levers. “Mosquitoes fly, but flies don’t Mosquito” :pilotfly: - Geoffrey de Havilland. ... well, he could have said it!

We've had it since release, though (if we both mean the same thing). That's how I originally had my THW throttle unit set up: throttles for L/R boosts, grey slider for RPMs combined. Didn't work well in the long run, though. For some reason, even though virtual RPM levers moved together (obviously), the RPMs were always a bit desynchronized in cold start missions and well synchronized only in air start ones. Still don't know if it's a bug, or intended simulation of lever imperfections in real airplane. Doesn't matter now anyway - bought second throttle quadrant in the end to control RPMs individually. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
Capn kamikaze Posted July 10, 2022 Author Posted July 10, 2022 I'll check again, I thought you could have left or right, or based on which engine was selected.

It's being a while since I last flew the Mosquito, but there's even such a thing as engine selection in DCS Mosquito? I believe you're thinking of a different "simulation" there . grafspee Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 (edited) You can select both left and right by using keyboard binds, default it is 8 9 0. I use single axis to control both rpm and if i am in the cruise i select single engine and sync rpm between engines.
