All of my model shapes corrected! All models version is V1.1 Downloaded from my site, or tomorrow from LockOnFiles.

 

Important!! If you use my mods in one instance (payload configuration) you should will have a texture bug. It's a LOMAC tools bug, because 3DSMax export tool working with standard materials only.

Of course it's possible. The DCS version will contain a higher detailed textures. I hope i will finish till end of this week. :-)

But I want point two remarks.

1. The count of triangles (15700) for UB-13 a bit high (I didn't see other models). I think it can be reduced without quality loss.

2. The models haven't LODs.

Thanks. Step by setp I hope I will better.

 

1.) The curent polygons of my modell is the following.

 

UB-32A/57 33.492

UB-32M/57 33.226

UB-32A/73 28.720

B-8M1 18.731

B-13 7.902

ODAB-500 2.516

 

Now I already trying to reduce them, but these modells are very complex and I must have to lot of effort and time (and test) to this optimisation.

 

2.) LOD WIP :-)

This GUV-8700 Gun Pod (9A624) and (9A669) had been developed for use on Mi-8/17, Mi-24/35, Ka-25/27/29 helicopters. The GUV-8700, has been listed as a weapons option for the Kamov Ka-50/Ka-52 attack helicopter family.

 

(And used on the HuAF Mi-24D too) :-)

any new updates?

Hi,

 

The GUV model almost finish. Now I working the model multi LOD and texturing the model too. I start to recreate and optimize (decrease poligon, and enhance texture detail) to my other rocket pods according Chizh remarks.

 

I hope both of them will be finished till end of this week. :-)

 

P.S.: Anybody know how to possible (which argument responsible for this) to assign a flash animation of the gunpod's muzzle in DCS:Black Shark? If it's possible, I'll try to animate the muzzle flash and the gun rotation too.

Hi,

 

I optimized and set a LOD all of my model, but I've got a little problem. After set the LOD paarmeters in the LOMUtils then I try to export my model to LOM format, I have the following error: Export modul failure.

 

I try to export my model on two different maschine and Max 7 and 8 too. I get same error message. So the error is probably my LOD settings.

 

I set up the lomutils according the ED requirement:

 

-Create LOD Dummy

- Link all meshes to this dummy

 

- set LOD dummy [LOD parameters] > [LOD Count] > 1 > [ranges (in meters] 25

- set LOD1 meshes > [LOD parameters] > [LOD Level] > 1 >

So I finished the optimization of all Rocket Pods and ODAB. It has a high detailed textures and LOD too. It'll be available today.

 

@Migressor

I'm already working the AIM-9X. The model finished the texturing in V1.0 phase. Test in progress by NRG-vampire. If the modell pass the test it'll be downloadable as soon as possible.
