Iron Sights Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 I noticed some of the warning lights have what appears to be an adjustment. You get the circle with the arrow when you hover over them, nothing happens, as expected, but just bringing it up. Also the accelerometer does not reset when you press the button.
gulredrel Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 Noticed this also. To sum up, this is for the following lights: Airbrake light Nose wheel steering light Combat flaps light jammer detection C+M or SW R light right
gabuzomeu Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 Hi, I read somewhere some of the lights are testable (ie light up when pressed). Might be those? Details: Asus Z-170E, Intel i5-6600K @ 4.2GHz, 16GB RAM MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G Win 10 Home
gulredrel Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 The point here is, you can turn them via mouse wheel which should increase / decrease intensity.

That's probably an error, as the manual of the real F1 does not state that these lights are actually adjustable on the lamp itself, instead they are adjustable with one of the lighting rheostats (the one on top of the day/night lever) ... that knob (on the night position) dims these lights: Airbrake, LIM, Fire, Emergency Regulation, AB and NWS. The lamps are defined as "default_button_axis" on the clickabledata.lua file, but it seems that's a mistake and they should be defined just as buttons. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
gulredrel Posted August 4, 2022 Posted August 4, 2022 Okay, low prio items, but should be noted. These are the details I like in the C-101, where the three marker indicator lights work this way. 1
gulredrel Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Just an update. Day position of the switch, lights bright: night position and dimmed: As you stated, only thing is the option to turn it, which could be removed. But don't know, maybe that's the same on the real plane, cause they used the same type of lamp with dimmer, but connected them differently, so dimming is not on the lamp itself, but you can turn it 1

I'm kind of amazed that there is another DCS user besides me, interested on this kind of details ... most never bother with the cabin checks part of the Procedure 3 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
