Rinz1er Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 (edited) Hey guys, On other jets to avoid having to realign after a repair, I turn on the ground power before shutting the engines down to keep the alignment stored through the repair. Though on the tomcat when the plane is lifted up for the repair it disconnects the ground power and trashes my alignment. Anyway we could get this fixed? ... and also the repair bug that forces me to smash the wing on the side a building so that I can fix popped tires (think of the taxpayers)? Edited July 27, 2022 by Rinz1er Also maybe the repair bug? 1
draconus Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 It's not realistic to keep ground power on during whole repair... which are unrealistic either in DCS. 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
RustBelt Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Right so, since the repair is unrealistic, why not just allow Ground Power? It’s still a simulacrum, you have to make compromises for usability. Or only play in no repair.
Frederf Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 It's because repair lifts the airplane off the ground out of reach of the ground crew services. 3
