algherghezghez Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 I don't know if this is a bug or an intended behavior, but I get a quite aggressive chenge of AoA in every trap: Even flying a smooth groove sector with small to none corrections, and not tuching the stick in the pitch, at the ramp I get a violent but brief pitch up followed by a pitch down leading to a 3 point landing. I only noticed this in the hornet, with the tomcato I get the burble effect way earlier at around 150ft and no turbulence at the ramp. Wake turbulence is activated. 1
Cal1664 Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 It's the new burble effect. Personally I think it's a little severe, but I've never actually landed an f18 on the deck if a carrier. 1
Roller25 Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I was watching a trap video of a Hornet driver the other day on YouTube and you can definitely see him give a quick nudge forward on the stick around about where the burble is in DCS. After seeing that, I'd say DCS is pretty damn close. 1
Nealius Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Pitch-down bug when crossing the ramp. It's been acknowledged and is being worked on. There were three threads on it but I can only find two right now: 2
