PLUTON Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 As the title suggests, are there seasons on the South Atlantic map? or not? 1

PLUTON Posted August 14, 2022 Author Posted August 14, 2022 Thanks for the reply money devil. it was to find out about the snow cover on the massifs if there was a difference between summer and winter. 2

This map is based on a satellite imagery, so in terms of the ground textures (including snowcaps on mountains) there is absolutely no difference between various months. And I'm 99% sure there won't ever be. Edit: see the comment below. Edited August 15, 2022 by Minsky Dima | My DCS uploads
MAXsenna Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 There is only one season now. But will eventually come. Quick search you know.
Minsky Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Good to know! Have to start saving for another SSD 1 Dima | My DCS uploads
PLUTON Posted August 15, 2022 Author Posted August 15, 2022 Let's save, let's save because this map is really beautiful so any place will be given to it 2

This will explain then why despite setting the weather to blizzard conditions in mid winter (August) there is no snow on the ground. 1
PLUTON Posted November 21, 2022 Author Posted November 21, 2022 Thanks for the reply and the info. I'm in no hurry but the day it will happen I think that will be a plus. Good flight 1
RubberDogSh1tOutOfHKG Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Still no Seasons, almost 2 years
plott1964 Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 (edited) Still no Seasons, over 2 years! Even after a pretty big (and nice) update. The Kola winter textures on the SA map would be nice. Flyingfish Posted July 21, 2024 Posted July 21, 2024 Is it worth having winter textures on this map? I thought it didn't really snow much there. Isn't it just 9°C and windy all year round? RTX 4090, AMD 9800x3D, 64GB Ram
