Comms: Auto "See you" breaks CLARA/Kiss Off submenu (track attached)

When triggering the "see you at 10" call manually, the submenu for CLARA and Kiss Off works as intended.

If the player does not manually trigger "see you at 10" and it is triggered automatically when within 10nm of the boat, the comms submenu becomes stuck at the post-check-in options. Pressing F2 to call "see you at 10" a second time gives a submenu containing only two options: abort and azimuth. CLARA and Kiss Off are missing in this situation.

All mods off except for Echo 19 F-14 sound mod.

Side question: Why do we have automatic "see you at 10" calls? I'm not aware of any other automatic carrier calls in CASE I or III.

Reported, thanks.

As for your question, what you're hearing isn't an automatic "see you at 10". It's an automatic check-in with tower. Since you failed to report at 10nm, and you are entering the marshall area, it's updating state after switching to tower. The problem here is that the menu isn't contemplating a possible pilot missed timing at the moment.

A way to mitigate this is... by following the correct procedures and timings. But, of course, sometimes workflow or distractions can create a scenario where you don't do it in the right time. Thanks for reporting this, nevertheless.

does it still give you the charlie signal?  If so, you don't really need those comms options, just hit the Hornet/Tomcat Ball bind when you get the ball, and you should be fine.  Clara and Kiss-off are optional calls that the Supercarrier doesn't actually need to continue.

Yes you still get the Charlie signal.

Sure there are "correct procedures" but those needn't be brought up when the software itself glitches. If "correct procedures" are to be so enforced (I hope not as that will cause problems when doing CASE I circuits) then the auto check-in with tower should be removed.
