Setting up ILS issue

Hi, another quick one please.....trying to set up and practice an ILS approach. Am using Kolchi, and have selected kolchi TACAN, cmd steering, Tacan is on REC, - first issue, need to enter 108.10 for the ILSA freq, but it appears as 108.90 when entered......then when I try and enter the course, which in my case is 088 ( taken from kneeboard chart) it stays flashing in the DED ( which I am assuming is a sign something is wrong) although if I dobber back to the CNI page then back into the tacan page, 088 has taken....why does it flash?

I turn the mode on the HSI to PLS TCN but the needles are offset left and up, not as shown in Wags video and stay there even as I fly over the airfield

What have I missed?

Thanks

As razor said, type 89, instead of 089. Did a short example on the fly:

note: course (in degrees) on map is shown as TRUE, while on ICP you have to enter MAGNETIC, which for Caucasus is -5 degrees (so I measured 94-5=89).

It was my pleasure, I also repeated the exercise my self 🙂 Don't do that kind of landing very often.

Or, in a more practical way, fly your plane in TRUE heading. (DED->list->misc->magv->set to manual, set 0.00 enter.)
For example, in my squadron we usually put all the planes we fly in true heading as uniforming procedure.
