ok, guys...need help.

i am currently making a throttle and switch stack..

i have room for two knobs, i just dont know if i should go with two pots, or two rotary switches...

the two pots would be analog utilizing an axis.

but the two rotary switches are just buttons...

im leaning toward incorporating the pots,

my question is , HOW DOES THE SKHVAL SLEW work?

has any one set a controller to use the AXIS Assignment of the Skhval Slew?

like if applied max pot, does it continuously slew to the right or left, or does it operate like a mouse cursor in with a certain position of the pot moves the skhval pan angle to a certain position...?

Also, to the Thrustmaster cougar owners...my question is, what are the knobs on the throttle? are they pots or some kind of rotary switch?

responses apprieciated!

Both are pots (at least in the original design because a lot of Cougars are modded. Basic Cougar is horrible, espcially stick springs!!) which can be programmed to set functions/actions on certain values of these pots.

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL.

Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!

Hi Hannibal

Yes, I've tried it. You can assign joystick axes to the skvhal. They are assigned as relative i.e the more you move the stick to the left the faster the skvhal will move to the left until you hit the pan limit for the skvhal.

thats cool, so basically you have to keep the axis centered in order to keep it to NOT to move the skhval camera...
