Hi gents

does anyone knows if the HD4870 GFX 1GB card have issues with "full shadows" option like the latesr nVidia cards have? I"m about to get this card and wanted to knows how it handles LOMAC/FC

intel Core i7 2600K, nVidia GTX580 ,8GB x1333 MHz RAM ,Win 7 ultimate 64bit, LG FLATRON W24553v 24" Monitor. MSFF 2 stick (yeah, it sucks).

Sorry to say, but i'm 99.99% sure that it *will* have the shadows glitch issue, infact all ATi cards above the X1950 series upwards have this issue.....

Personally running shadows on 'All Planar' is fine - And Yeah - that card will SPANK LockOn :thumbup:

i think all VGA (Nvidia & ATI) support DX10 will have issue with Full shadow option

I'm running an X1650XT (full support DX9C), it has no problem with full shadow (LOFC and DCS-BS)

if there's a problem with full shadows on LOMAC and BS with all DX10 cards shouldn't ED do something about it? I mean - almost all the cards people use here (especially when they need newer cards to run BS amd LOMAC properly) are DX10 compatible, which means that many ,mamy people here can't run "full shadows".

am I right or am I right?
