Just to clarify...

I can't speak to the mission you were using, but I just re-ran my tests.

 

I see no improvement.  Other than a narrow cone of fire from dead direct 6 clk approach, the gunners appear incapable of shooting.

I can dance in and amongst the bomber formation and no one will shoot a round.  I'm not going to upload another film as there is no difference from all the other films I linked.

There is no way I would call this fixed.  So what ever internal fix exists, it either didn't make it into the patch or there is a misunderstanding of the issue.

Time to see if this has indeed been addressed.

The Bomber gunners are still Useless and the bombers dont, or cannot respond to even the "Weapons free "command.

They just fly along and get killed.

The AI Bombers need a new command.....HOLD| FORMATION but shoot !!

This is also the only option for a bomber formation...Passive Defence. It you try to use any other...the results are chaos, especially with a large WW2 formation.

The gunners dont even track the fighter ?
