correct as is Supercarrier decks all have artifacts near the bow catapults

Tried searching for this but didnt see anyone report it yet (As obvious as it is ingame). The deck seems to have multiple textures conflicting with each other.

Nope, just the coating peculiarities:

The only "artifact" here is that they've copied & pasted the same texture across the entire Supercarrier fleet
