Havoc04 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Well i was looking forward to buying BS today but after i pulled out my Mastercard Debit card got the Error Card not in range. As i dont work and im on the Pension i have no way to get a Visa/Matercard Credit Card. And im not going to borrow someone elses card through the sheer inconviniance of it. I see you have Visa Debit but no Matercard Debit. Oh well ill put my money into something else. Cheers

I tried using a debit card but my stupid credit union decided to bar all transactions from Europe and...get this...the entire US east coast! Apparently protecting against fraud by treating me like a child is more important than letting me have access to my money. You may want to check with your bank/credit union to see if this might be the case with you. With mine, I could have called ahead of making the transaction to notify them to temporary lift the restriction. In the end, I just used a credit card. :( Maybe this would get more help if moved to the billing/support forum? Edited January 8, 2009 by RedTiger

JDski Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Did you enter 000 in that code they ask for? If you don't, your transaction will not complete. It doesn't say so right on the main form page you fill out, you have to click the question mark next to the box you enter 000 to bring up a pop up window that tells you this. I believe that box is for European customers only and in the U.S. you enter 000 there or it will fail.

I hope you can work out to purchase with your Debit card as others have said they have done so successfully. It will be the best money you ever spent on a sim. Absolutley one of a kind. Best of luck and don't miss out on DCS Black Shark if you can help it. When I used my first credit card, it was declined and the credit card company called me within 5 minutes. I was rather impressed with the response. My other credit card went thru w/o a problem.
