How to remove the 'crosshair' in the (5) Head Tracker symbol to de-clutter the IHADDS as seen in below? (Mine has a 'crosshair' in the center). Adjusting brightness helps but the symbology is very 'busy' IMO. Thanks.

Sounds like your current Acquisition Source is set to "Fixed", which is the default on a cold start.

Change the ACQ Source to TADS, or any other TSD point, and the crosshair will move to show the location of that source instead.

the headtracker ( where the nose of the aircraft is pointed ) is important and I dont think there is any option to remove it.

but as mentioned above you need to change your ACQ source to TADS

Thanks

Yeah, unfortunately, aside from the pilot having the option to switch off CUEING as AvroLanc mentioned (since the pilot doesn't have the option to disable SLAVE in the backseat), there really isn't any options to customize the IHADSS symbology elements aside from the four different symbology modes themselves.

Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man.
