nemises Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Hi Korrea, Yes, Black Shark should run on W2k3 server. Understand though that it has to run as a client app..there is no dedicated server app for BS.

Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
korrea Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 Thanks ;). I use W2003 Server with a VNC Viewer. It is the only way to run games remotely, falcon4, lomac, il2... I hope EDs will do this important software ;)
Fudd Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 The 159th Server runs Windows Server 2003. As was repeated aboove you will need a server that has a DX 9 compliant video card and sound card. You will need a admin program like UltraVNC or Remote Admin that will allow direct X acceleration while accessing the server. The code is probaly in Russian anyway.
korrea Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 I bought the BS for my W2003 server and run perfect. The server is located in a Data-Center with 100 Mb speed and it run perfect ;). But we need a DCS dedicated server ;). Thanks!.

It is easy to set up (no port configuration), free for non commercial use and can even be used via web browser as well as with a full client.
