Steel Jaw Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 The actual one is stupidly over-priced due to its monopoly...anybody make their own and if so any guides about? "You see, IronHand is my thing" My specs: W10 Pro, I5/11600K o/c to 4800 @1.32v, 64 GB 3200 XML RAM, Red Dragon 7800XT/16GB.
The_Nephilim Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) Well not sure why you say they are overlypriced there is another called "Earthquake" which is equally as spendy. I have seen people take a big subwoofer driver and make a buttkicker of sorts with those parts.. Perhaps this would interest you it is called a B.O.S.S. and from what I read there it is very cool and works well. I have all the parts required besides the sheet of wood and was gonna build it a couple years ago but then Covid hit and I never got to build it. right now I am in the process of moving to a new house so maybe over there I will get to build it and see for myself.. but the reviews are very positive. https://www.avsforum.com/threads/the-hideaway-theater.2991522/ I would say that would be a thing to try with a Gaming rig. unlikely_spider Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) I bought a bass transducer for like $17, and an amp for like $20. That plus speaker cable plus the software is my butt kicker. Edited October 31, 2022 by unlikely_spider 2 Modules: Wright Flyer, Spruce Goose, Voyager 1

Hoirtel Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 I have two Dayton Bst1s and a small amp. Really really good. I also stopped using simshaker and much prefer using EQ'd game sound. Voicemeeter Banana is a must have to route all the sound correctly.
