AP are impossible to engage . (DCS 2.8)

Dear all 

Not sure if I miss something but I am unable to turn AP Channels ON no one of them goes to green from a cold start 

so to be sure I take a free flight mission a DCS one I start inflight and it’s the same all channels are off and impossible to turn them on . 

Is that me did I do something wrong ? 

I check key bindings all is set correctly, even with the mouse it doesn’t t work . ??

is there a bug here from last update ??

Works fine for me. 

Can you give us short track, you probably missed some step?

Same works for me. They won’t engage us generators are off, but you shouldn’t have that problem in hot start 

Only possibility I could think, you have something bound to autopilot reset that is constantly being pressed

I find a bit more of my problem it’s not about bindings . To remove my problem I need to uncheck

 "Synchronize cockpit controls with HOTAS controls as Mission Start" but i dont understand why as nothing on my controller are linked to autopilot channel 

well it’s weird I try a repair no change .. so i will try to search more into this direction and see if I find something .. But what could turn all AP in off (red) ?

- engine RPM goes low under yellow line also giro start to flash red and fan stop 

- gen are off same stuff giro is red and fan stop 

-what again ??

You might want to make a track or a video. The AP will turn off anytime the generators are offline, wether that’s becuase they haven’t been turned on or Rotor RPM is below 87% depends.

That might be an issue. Even if you spawn in flight, controls sync (which we know is bugged) can cause overpitch and RPM droop enough to kick generators offline. You do know that, if that happens, you need to manually cycle generators? Without cycling, AP will not switch on.

Yes it will, I turn AP back on Al other time without cycling generators. As long as RPM is high enough to turn them on. Only difference I have found is generators have a yellow caution light 

 

But it’s not red so we’re all good

You are correct, this is new.

Found what might be a bug though.
