Hello!

Just going through your manual and noticed something. The Autopilot SA-06 chapter shows the header "Autopilot SA-06 (SPAK, ATT, HÖJD, Std Turn, HAW)" on page 86, but the HAW is not included in this chapter. I suppose the content has been moved to the HAW part of the flight control system chapter?

I can't say I'll print this one, but I've certainly printed such long manuals in the past. And will again. My printer is very ink-effecient tho, and is an ink well based one so ink are much cheaper than cartridge-based ones.

Dear Viggen drivers, long time no read!

As promised in spring, here is the newest version of the manual including updates that come with the DCS update September 17^th, 2025.

The overhaul of the manual took considerable amount of time. Anyway, I would have loved to release it earlier, but the updates on the Viggen took their time. I want to say THANK YOU to all contributors, and especially to forum users MYSE1234 and Dobbi, who - in the background - provided guidance, tips & ideas, and reported issues during the last few months. All contributors are referenced in the list below.

Enjoy the newest changes on the module while having a refreshed manual in hands!

Manual update 2025-09-06:

Major steps:

.) Major rework of chapter 03. General design and Systems overview > Electrical system; now starting on page 202.
.) Major rework of chapter 03. General design and Systems overview > Hydraulic system; now starts on page 207.
.) Major rework of chapter 07. Weapons employment > Reconnaissance.
.) Pictures of all "... controls overview" are now consistently placed on odd page numbers in order for PDF book readers to have the picture on the left side, and the text list of elements on the right side or on the same page (in Adobe Reader select Menu "View" > "Page display" > "Show cover page" for this type of reading style).
.) Applied table style for elements of all "... controls overview" pictures, let's see how you like it ...
.) Cockpit controls (switches, knobs, elements) are now written in Italic font style (work in progress, will last a few updates until all are finished).
.) Replaced background pictures for main chapters 01 - 09 with printer friendly inverted / gray scale pictures.
.) Replaced the two big Heatblur logo pictures with printer friendly inverted / grey scale pictures (pages 2 and 392).
.) Didactic warnings are consistently red; didactic cautions are consistently amber; didactic notes are consistently gray.
